Wind Ensemble / Symphonic Band

This ensemble is open to all students with experience playing woodwind, brass or percussion instruments*. Students begin in Symphonic Band and students that exhibit advanced performance and theory skills are advanced to the top Wind Ensemble. Students in this class perform winter and spring concerts, as well as performing in district and regional festivals. Every two years students participate in a long-distance spring tour.

*Piano and string bass students are encouraged to join String Orchestra, but may be permitted to join this class with director's approval.
